November 19, 2022 – December 24th, 2022

The authentic German Christmas Village opens for the season on November 19th, occupying the vendor spaces around City Hall and continuing into Love Park. While many of the vendors are some of the same ones that have been coming for years, new additions to the market cater to all holidays and winter celebrations, not just Christmas!

The market is modeled after the traditional Christmas markets that are common in Germany, bringing to Philly a festive holiday shopping destination where visitors can support artisans and small businesses in a cozy holiday atmosphere.

In addition to the vendors selling ornaments, gifts, jewelry, and more, the market hosts dozens of stands selling traditional German foods including glühwein, strudel, bratwurst, German pretzels, and beer.

For those looking for a new favorite, the village offers wine and spirit tasting packages at 4pm on select days throughout its run. Each wine or spirit is paired with food selected through your package, and it’s a great way to try a variety of new foods and drinks this holiday season.
